Description
Robert Half is hiring a Recruiting Assistant for one of our clients on the east side. The Recruiting Assistant will play an integral role in the hiring process by liaising with job candidates and assisting recruiters with various tasks. This collaborative role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to providing a high level of service.
Responsibilities:
Assist with screening resumes and job applications.
Coordinate and schedule interviews and follow-up appointments.
Post, update, and remove job postings from job boards, careers pages, and social networks.
Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department).
Conduct phone screens and provide candidate shortlists to hiring teams.
Help with new hire onboardings.
Perform other recruiting tasks as needed.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a recruiting assistant or other relevant HR/administrative role.
Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Knowledge of HR practices and labor legislation is a plus.
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field.
