Genesis10 is seeking a Agris Application Support Analyst for a contract with our client in Inver Grove Heights, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: Our client has an exciting opportunity in our Agris Software Support Division. We are looking for a Software Support Analyst to work with our outlying locations and support the accounting and management information systems. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail orientated, able to work with users having varying skill levels and possess the ability to work independently on multiple tasks. You must maintain a higher level of professionalism to be successful in this role. Position: M-F, 8am - 4:30pm, with occasional weekends, & holiday shifts (rotating schedule to run some reports that have to be ran over weekends, may need to offer support on weekends typically a 4 hour shift). Key Responsibilities: * Answer and log requests for assistance into call tracking software; analyze, prioritize, and assign to appropriate support personnel. * Coordinate and work with Special Projects group on a variety of ongoing and new projects as needed. * Work with agronomy, accounting, software, and hardware staff. * Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems. * Provide on-going first level system support to outlying users, assisting with problems / issues users are unable to resolve locally, primarily by telephone or other electronic communication. * Identify and correct problems through simulations or recreations. * Work with business retail locations and IT staff in coordinating the information flow between outlying sites and the corporate office to accomplish the required reporting and consolidation responsibilities and needs of the business division. * Document standard operating procedures and processes of the special projects, accounting and information systems used by field and corporate staff. * Provide other general systems support. * Be comfortable with file layouts and imports. * Assist other areas as needed. Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Accounting, or Business Management or equivalent experience in Agriculture Industry. Requesting candidates with Agriculture Accounting background and/or Agris software experience. Years of Exp- looking around 4 Knowledge of agriculture business products (i.e. Seed, Fertilizer, Chemical, Fuels, etc.) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently while supporting a team atmosphere. Ability to work extended hours and rotating weekends as needed to compile reports and solve problems requiring immediate assistance. Preferred Qualifications: (desired) Agris software systems experience Working knowledge of federal and state regulations for Ag Businesses (i.e. CFTC, FIFRA, Container Tracking, Restricted Use reporting, etc.) Understanding of IT systems Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $25.00-$38.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
