ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: LIVESTOCK JUDGING COACH / AG CAREERS SPECIALIST
11 Month Contract Full-time Staff Position (renewable contract position)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Livestock Judging Coach / AG Careers Specialist
will coach the
Livestock Judging team and recruit students to Agriculture programs and
careers. The position is responsible for recruitment of students to the
Livestock Judging team and Agriculture programs, management and travel
of
the team, and instruction of Livestock Evaluation and Oral Reasons
courses.
The position is responsible for student advising, activity program
development, division participation, committee and task force service,
and
individual professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Agriculture or a related field is
required; a Master degree
with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Agriculture or a related
field is
preferred. Experience in college teaching is preferred.
LOCATION: Iola Campus. On-campus office hours are required of the
position.
SALARY: \$50,000-58,000; salary based on education and experience. An
excellent
benefits package is available.
STARTING DATE: July 1, 2024
