Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing materials on pipes, ducts, and other mechanical systems to control temperature and prevent energy loss. You will also prepare surfaces before installation, measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions, and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work around pipes, ducts, and other mechanical systems to control temperature and prevent energy loss.

  • Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions and shapes required for various mechanical systems.

  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Support more experienced insulators with tasks such as material handling, tool maintenance, and site cleanup.

Essential Skills

  • Interest in growing a career in construction.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus!

Work Environment

You will be working at typical construction sites where steel-toed boots, hard hats, high-visibility clothing, and safety glasses are required. Please note that steel-toed boots must be provided by the employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
