Description We are in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management sector, seeking a diligent Receptionist to join our team located in Irving, Texas. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in process. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with necessary assistance
• Efficiently manage the check-in procedure, including the distribution of name badges
• Ensure all guests are appropriately checked in and directed to the correct location within the premises
• Maintain a welcoming and detail oriented environment at reception
• Handle inquiries and provide information related to our services and facilities
• Keep a well-organized record of all visitors and their respective appointments
• Coordinate with other team members to manage guest flow efficiently
• Uphold the standards of our facility by ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the reception area. Requirements • Excellent understanding of receptionist duties such as welcoming visitors, responding to phone calls, and managing mail
• Demonstrated experience in a receptionist role, ideally within the Property/Facilities Management industry
• Proficiency in using office software like Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to oversee check-in procedures for visitors and staff, ensuring all security protocols are followed
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with guests and team members
• Exceptional organizational skills for handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
• Familiarity with the property management industry
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Detail oriented appearance and courteous manner
