Boeing Research & Technology META (Middle East, Türkiye, Africa) region is looking for intern post graduate student to work in projects related to researching and developing model-based methods and software tools for data interoperability, synchronization and change management across multiple engineering design tools. This is a fixed term 6 months Internship on a full time basis, due to commence July 2024.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
Participate in agile activities including daily scrums, and planning
Adhere to team development standards for software processes, tools and metrics
Ability to work in an international team environment - on-site working scheme
Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the end product reflects the desired functionality
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React JS, Node JS
Develop and execute unit and integrated test procedures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Knowledge/experience in the Aviation Industry desirable
Exposure to Systems Engineering is favorable
Experienced in Python programming
Experience using dependency management (Maven, Gradle)
Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and interfaces
Familiarity with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, dependency management
Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Türkiye law.
