The Role
We are searching for a Facilities Technician to provide onsite
support 5-days a week, Monday - Friday at our Itasca headquarters.
In This Role, You will
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment by abiding by
all safety p policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines in order
prevent and reduce exposure to accidents and injuries with a
positive customer service mindset.
- Provide suggestions and feedback on improving departmental
processes, performance goals, and environment.
- Perform PM\'s on all dock doors, dock plates, HVAC equipment.
- Install electrical circuits up to 480V, install light fixtures,
replace ballasts, and repair light fixtures.
- Assemble furniture; install office partitions, room set-ups for
meetings, minor carpentry, and painting.
- Work with security department, snow removal, and salting of exterior
areas.
- Support a team environment by assisting in training and facilitating
job duties for other team members (including temps).
- Work a 40-hour work schedule, maintain consistent and acceptable
attendance and work overtime as required, including weekend and
holiday work based on business demands.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 5+ years of facilities experience
- Able to use computerized maintenance software
- Able to perform repetitive tasks (including physical requirements as
described below) on a consistent basis.
- Flexible to work in an environment where priorities change.
Demonstrates high standards of professionalism in work and ethic.
Accepts ownership for work completed.
- Open to learning new skills and willing to utilize and implement
learned skills into everyday job duties.
