As our Planner/Buyer, you will execute activities to support efficient
planning and procuring of materials within your assigned product
portfolio. You will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to
improve and meet external and internal expectations in terms of
efficient inventory management.\
We operate in a hybrid work environment, which includes remote days on
Mondays and Fridays, and in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays.\
In This Role, You will
- Work with established suppliers, to ensure service levels and
inventory goals are achieved to maximize ROI for the categories
assigned
- Acquire and maintain understanding of all relevant aspects of the
Oracle system. Work with Oracle system on a day-to-day basis to
ensure accurate information flow
- Execute MRP plan to ensure KPI objectives are met
- Support inventory management
- Support efficient logistics including tracking/expediting shipments
from port to distribution center
- Manage purchase orders
- Contribute to effective financial management\
What You Bring to the Team:
- A minimum of three years of experience in planning/purchasing within
a manufacturing environment
- Strong MRP skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Process-driven and detail oriented
- The ability to handle diverse requests and projects in a timely
manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work with a variety of different functions and
individuals across the organization\
You May Also Have
- A bachelor\'s degree (preferred)
- APICS, CPIM or NAPM CPM certification (preferred)\
