Responsibilities Include:

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and recommendations. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and helpful service.

“Cashless” Cashiering:

Assisting with refunds and exchanges quickly and efficiently.

Stocking and Merchandising:

Unpack merchandise, stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays with fresh products. Ensure proper rotation of products to maintain freshness. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management.

Food Handling:

Handle and package food products following safety and sanitation guidelines. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Monitor food expiration dates and remove expired items from shelves. Communicate and document food waste accordingly.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including the sales floor.

Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Communicate equipment maintenance issues with management as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals and objectives. Communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding any issues or concerns.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Take and record hot and cold temperatures on every perishable food item each 2 hours.

  • Discard and notify the Food and Beverage Manager if any item needs to be discarded.

  • Record and document internal temperatures of the hot holding units every 4 hours

  • Record and document the temperature of the cold holding units every 4 hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, personable, positive, and hard working.

  • Detailed oriented and able to perform independently with minimal supervision.

  • Effective communication skills and works well in a team-oriented environment.

  • Required to have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patron, and others encountered in the course of employment.

  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.

  • Ability to work flexible, sometimes long hours which include nights, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
