JOB REQUIREMENTS: Electrical: Must be able to replace light bulbs and ballasts Rewire light fixtures to accept LED bulbs Replace outlets, wall switches, motion-style wall switches, metal halide bulbs and ballasts Remove and replace ceiling can-style light fixtures Replace outdoor photo eyes for outdoor lighting Plumbing: Remove commercial toilets and replace wax rings Install new replacement toilets Use commercial toilet snake Change out Sloan flush valve internal parts Replace toilet tanks, interior tank parts and flush mate valves Replace water shut off valves and faucets Remove and replace water heater units Unclog sinks and floor drains Work with PVC and copper piping Carpentry Perform minor door repairs, door closure adjustments and replacements Hardware replacement Threshold and door sweep replacement and caulking skills Carpet tile, ceramic tiling and grout repairs Basic drywall repairs Interior and exterior painting Paint color matching Repair of handicap auto door opener/closure buttons ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair work at high profile commercial business locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
