SHAPING THE FUTURE TOGETHER Who are we looking for? A highly motivated and driven self-starting Strategic Sourcing Analyst who can work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate should have the understanding of what needs to be done in order to support the execution of spend and supply analysis, strategy development, execution of RFP/RFQ activities, supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation of terms and conditions, and new product introduction activities. They should also have strong computer and technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite and SAP and be able to travel up to 70% of the time to vendor/production locations. The shift hours are typically 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, other days/times as needed. What you will be doing: The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will continually explore sourcing/re-sourcing opportunities arising from process and product improvements, new technology, alternative materials and suppliers, enhancements in supply chain activities, cost reduction programs, and other opportunities that may present a competitive advantage with the goal of attaining the optimal balance of quality, service, availability, and value.
