Job Description
Our client is in need of a financial analyst to join their team. This position is available due to an internal promotion. This role with be focused within FP&A responsibilities like budgeting, forecasting, creating financial models, and assist with financial presentations.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with department leaders
Transforms data & organizes information
Updates monthly forecast
Creates & distributes expense variance summaries
Assists with evaluating headcount & expense requests
Creates & maintains financial models
Supports the accounting team as needed for audit activities, reporting, and special projects
Works closely with accounting department, providing general ledger coding as needed
Reviews general ledger and identifies needs for expense reclassification
Develops the annual budget
Prepares & delivers financial presentations
Provides ad hoc analysis as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a FP&A role.
Experience researching, analyzing, and communicating financial data to non-financial leaders.
Experience creating financial models
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Work Environment
- This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule requiring minimal days on-site. Candidates must sit in the Jacksonville market due to Hybrid expectations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.46/hr.
