Senior Project Manager - Cybersecurity (Remote) Minimum 6-month contract, with potential for extension or full-time employment

Job Summary: As a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will spearhead the direction, management, communication, and coordination of project-oriented work efforts across our Cybersecurity organization. Your primary focus will be on technical cybersecurity projects, encompassing the design, development, execution, implementation, or maintenance of cybersecurity tools, processes, systems, or software. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet high-quality standards, and exceed customer expectations. Assigned projects will vary in complexity, scope, and impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects with internal and external dependencies, spanning moderate to large scope, with moderate risk and impact.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in planned costs versus actual costs, maintaining overall financial management for assigned projects.
• Develop, review, and validate multiple project plans, ensuring alignment with approved charters and project objectives.
• Communicate project status effectively to project teams, stakeholders, leadership, and Program Managers associated with other projects.
• Lead project meetings and actively facilitate issue resolution, change management, risk mitigation, and dependency management.
• Advise project team, customers, and staff on tactical solutions to overcome project barriers.
• Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members to achieve mutual project goals.
• Mentor Cybersecurity Project Managers and provide guidance as needed.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education in IT Project Management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing cybersecurity projects is a must.
• Proficiency in implementing cybersecurity tools such as Tanium and Crowdstrike.
• Ability to manage projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget tracking and forecasting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain experience in industries such as Healthcare or Finance.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) and CompTIA Security+.
• Familiarity with other cybersecurity tools, languages, and specialty skills.

Note for Candidates: Candidates should possess working knowledge/experience in implementing tools such as Tanium and Crowdstrike, as they will collaborate with all Our Client subsidiaries for implementation purposes.
