Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Jacksonville, FL (South side)
Shift: First Shift/Day Shift (Monday - Friday)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Load and unload trucks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet-jacks, electric pallet-jacks, or by hand.
Inspect shipments for damage, sign freight bills, verify quantities, check shipments against packing lists, and complete necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies.
Utilize an RF scanner to track and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy in the receiving process.
Perform computer work to enter data accurately and efficiently.
Operate a sit-down forklift as needed to move and organize products.
Replenish stock using material handling equipment or by hand with RF scanners, including restocking picking stock, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, storing pallets in racks, checking for product mixing, and rotating products as needed.
Fill customer orders by picking products using RF scanners, ensuring accuracy by scanning barcodes, and packing products into cartons or onto pallets for damage-free shipment.
Maintain inventory accuracy through system-directed or user-directed cycle counts, involving manual counting and verification of discrepancies, with correct counts entered into the RF Warehouse Management System.
Provide friendly, accurate, and prompt fulfillment of customer orders at the Will Call Counter.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role or similar position.
Ability to operate an RF scanner and perform data entry tasks.
Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items (50lbs-70lbs).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
