This is a role for a manager at Assistant Vice President level within Transfer Agency operational unit, reporting to the ID Head of TA Operations. The candidate will have people management, day-to-day transaction processing, client servicing and oversight/governance responsibility. It is a fantastic opportunity for the individual who has experience in the funds industry, and is looking for an opportunity to advance in a fast growing dynamic organization.
The candidate is expected to be responsible for handling daily BAU activities including client and vendor management, BAU management and oversight responsibilities while managing an operational team in Indonesia. The candidate is also expected to maintain a close working relationship with its product & technology partners and operational team(s) in-country and in other Citi locations, while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of daily BAU activities, oversight and governance of its in-country operational activities and/or other outsourced/offshored activities.
Responsibilities:
The candidate should have strong knowledge of the full trade cycle including other functions performed within the Transfer Agency operations, as well as the responsibilities of the Administrator and the Custodian. The candidate is required to have strong knowledge and extensive practical experience of the following core TA processes:
Client/Distributor/Investor on-boarding, AML/KYC documentation & administration, and data management
Transaction processing & investor servicing
Cash & trade settlement processing
Corporate action processing
Reporting of shareholder trade activity to the fund accountant and fund custodian
Bank account reconciliation
Foreign exchange dealing & execution
Periodic client & investor reporting
Client and investor servicing
Interaction with regulators such as OJK & KSEI in relation to S-Invest and its related activities
The candidate should also have experience in the following responsibilities of the Transfer Agent:
Review of fund prospectuses, operating memorandums and key fund documentation
Fund launches and implementation
Client conversions
Client change request management
Client & vendor management
Knowledge and understanding of CPF and SRS related processes and its regulations
Oversight and risk control management for domestic and outsourced functions
Managing client due diligence visits
Awareness of regulatory and industry change and how it impacts the business
Qualifications:
7 - 10 years of experience, preferably in a related role
Subject Matter Expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products preferred
People management experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
