Position: Manager- EHS
Reporting To: Plant Head
Location: Shree Mahavir Metalcraft Pvt Ltd, Jamnagar, Gujarat

Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible to manage the workplace Safety, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Legislation, Emergency Plans, Mock Drills, Risk Analysis, HIRA, EHS Audits, Staff Training and Regulatory Compliances etc. The person shall also be responsible to review environment impact assessment & audit and will also prepare global safety and environment report as per global guideline. Excellence in conceptualizing and effectuating process initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement overall EHS group policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain various statutory register and compliance as per applicable Act/Rules.
Liaise with pollution control board and ensure all related compliances.
Ensure fire and emergency arrangements are maintained in good order and emergency mock drills are conducted, identify gaps, and correct it.
Handle Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage treatment plant (STP) and Occupational Health center at Plant level.
To Design, develop and conduct safety and environmental audits and training programs.
Ensure recording, reporting, and investigating injuries, accidents, and dangerous occurrences.
Report investigates all the accidents and implement preventive actions.
Sustainability data reporting and project implementation as per corporate requirements.
Control the energy consumption and carbon emissions at Plant level.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of applicable regulations related to Environment, Health, and Safety
Broad subject knowledge of conducting risk assessment, hazard identification and mitigation, Health, Safety & environment (HSE) audits, accidents investigations & implementing remedial measures.
Knowledge of handling Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage treatment plant (STP).
Knowledge of Energy monitoring systems.
Should possess good English communication skills.
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001 standards
Educational Qualification and Experience:
Diploma in Industrial Safety / Environmental along with Full time Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science.
Experience of working in an Manufacturing industries
Relevant experience of 9-14 years
