passionate individuals to join our Family Support Program in Rock
County. The Family Support Program is designed to maintain the
parent-child relationship and reduce the sense of abandonment children
experience when placed outside of the home. As the Family Support
Specialist, you will support and enhance parenting skills, and identify
and resolve any safety issues before and after children return home to

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST: Evaluate youth and
families for treatment needs and refer to appropriate resources. Analyze
client situations and capabilities to determine services needed to
address safety concerns. Implement, evaluate and review safety
assessments and plans. Provide parent coaching during child/family
interaction visitation. Intervene when necessary to prevent
inappropriate behavior or to promote productive interactions. Provide
designated parent curriculum in individual or group settings. Act as a
resource to evaluate and determine necessary responses in de-escalating
crisis situations with youth and families. LOCATION: Office is based in
Janesville, WI. Local travel is required to meet with clients in Rock
County, with mileage reimbursement. Position offers some flexibility to
work remote when client visits are not scheduled. Must be able to meet
in-person with clients in Rock County, Wisconsin. SCHEDULE: Hours of
work are varied/flexible and may include evenings and/or weekends to
