Position: MIG Welder

Locations:

  • Janesville, WI

  • Quincy, IL

  • Sequin, TX

Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 4am-2pm

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2pm-12am

  • (Mandatory OT as needed)

Compensation: Starting at $25/hr+ (depending on experience)

  • $3.00 Shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift

Job Highlights: As a MIG Welder, you will be a vital part of our team, welding fabricated components to custom or stock specifications. Your role ensures compliance with customer quality requirements and aligns with UA manufacturing philosophies. Monitoring welding performance and efficiency are crucial elements of this exciting position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and clamps for small welding applications.

  • Identify types of joints and welds.

  • Set up and maintain welding machines, including changing wire and monitoring gases.

  • Follow all safety policies and standards.

  • Maintain work center efficiency of 95%.

  • Maintain a high degree of quality, minimizing scrap.

  • Use basic math principles including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Recommend and help implement process improvements.

  • Inspect own work for quality standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
