Description:

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Junior to Mid Cybersecurity Analyst focused on Vulnerability to work on a 12-month contract position working 100% remotely. This role can convert perm but would require the candidates to work hybrid onsite in Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Omaha, NE, St. Petersburg, FL, or Minneapolis, MN, four days a week after conversion to a permanent role. Permanent conversion is not required, but candidates in one of these markets willing to work onsite upon perm conversion would be prioritized by our client.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

 Rate: $35 - $40 / hour w2

Responsibilities:

• Utilize vulnerability management tools to detect and prioritize security issues across the IT landscape

• Create detailed vulnerability reports and guide remediation efforts across departments.

• Use ServiceNow to manage incidents and enhance workflows for vulnerability resolution.

• Implement automation within ServiceNow to streamline ticketing and security operations.

• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to enhance processes and maintain documentation.

Experience Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience using vulnerability management tools for scanning and resolution (Tenable.io / Nessus preferred, equivalent tools like Qualys or Rapid7 ok).

• Hands-on ServiceNow experience, including workflow configuration (equivalent ticketing software experience would be ok).

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including risk assessment and remediation.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain technical documentation.

Preferred:

• Experience integrating vulnerability tools with ServiceNow.

• Veracode App scanning experience preferred

• ServiceNow scripting and automation workflows.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, GSEC).

• Analytical problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
