SUMMARY
Directs, plans, and leads the Jerome 20/20, Inc. Economic Development
Organizations business expansion and business attraction activities in
cooperation with the City and County of Jerome, and its Corporate
Members. Create and maintain an Annual Strategic Plan focusing on
potential areas for growth and development for the Company. Provide
construction project support making sure that all zoning, access,
infrastructure, and site improvement requirements are met. This position
profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be qualified to perform each essential

- Carry out the day-to-day business activities of the Company. These
duties may be outside of the office and beyond normal business
hours.
- Report regularly to officers and the Executive Committee of the
Company.
- Pursue new businesses from areas within Idaho and other states via
email, calls, conferences, and face-to-face meetings.
- Provide project management assistance where needed for expansion and
attraction construction projects, making sure that all zoning,
access, infrastructure, and site improvement requirements are met in
cooperation with the City and County of Jerome Planning & Zoning and
building officials.
- Serve as the liaison for the Company with the State of Idaho, SIEDO,
City and County of Jerome, Idaho Economic Development Association,
local Urban Renewal Agencies, and any of their agencies,
commissions, or departments.
- Attend all Company Board of Director Meetings, prepare agendas for
such meetings and disseminate them after approval by the President.
Disseminate minutes of meetings prepared by the Secretary and
provide notice of Board meetings to Corporate Members and City and
County representatives.
- Assist in retaining existing donors and recruiting potential new
donors.
- Track all contributions to the Company and all expenditures and
report them to the Board of Directors at least monthly. Provide
written reports including the Financial Statements (Balance Sheet,
Income Statement, Approved Budget YTD vs. Actual Expenses YTD,
Contributions Receivable, and Accounts Payable).
- Provide a written monthly report to the Board of Directors at the
monthly meeting and update on current proposals, future proposals,
and contacts.
- Attend meetings of the Jerome City Council and the Jerome County
Board of Commissioners at least quarterly and provide updates of
economic development efforts.
- Continually recommend and implement strategies for effective
economic development in consultation with the Executive Committee,
the Board of Directors and the City and County of Jerome.
- Together with the Executive Committee, develop an Annual Strategic
Plan focusing on marketing goals, conferences to be attended,
travel, etc. and cost estimates associated with such activities.
- Work with the Executive Committee to develop the Annual Operating
and Marketing Budget for Jerome 20/20, Inc. related to the Annual
Strategic Plan.
- Attend local, regional, or state meetings as assigned by the
Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, or City and County of
Jerome leadership.
- Participate in approved events hat support the economic development
of the City and County of Jerome.
- Utilize and update social media to further market and maintain
market presence for Jerome 20/20, Inc. at www.jerome2020.com,
Facebook, project press releases, newspaper articles, LinkedIn,
Jerome Chamber of Commerce Newsletter, and more.
- Report any matters requiring urgent attention or follow up
immediately to the Officers of the Company and the Executive
Committee.
- Perform all other similar or related services required by the Board
of Directors
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5-10 years of progressive career growth and a strong background in
economic development. A minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree in Business
Administration, or similar field of study.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations,
financial reports, and legal documents.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to effectively create presentations, and present information to
the Board of Directors of Jerome 20/20, Inc., the City and County of
Jerome, public groups, and more.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical
