Payments Operations supports the Payments business for JPMorgan Chase by delivering secure, accurate high-quality payment solutions and support to over 142,000 of the Bank's Clients operating globally across over 122 currencies. As an Associate Business Manager, you will be part of the Payments Operations Business Management team. You will provide support to the Head of Payments Operations and business leaders, act as a trusted advisor, focus on owning various aspects of business governance, communication, strategy, and overall business hygiene and maintenance on behalf of the business.

This is a highly visible position that requires outstanding communications skills, project management discipline and a strategic mindset, and be processed oriented. Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support business governance for the Head of Payments Operations, including leadership and extended leadership team meetings, extended business management meetings, and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR)

  • Drive the preparation and content creation of leadership team offsites and global town hall in partnership with the Head of Payment Operations, corporate communications, and Payment Operations business owners

  • Own and maintain important organization documents, such as organization Fact Packs and MD Induction Packs which are used to support leaders within Payment Operations

  • Partner with business lead to consolidate content for Monthly Business Review that is reviewed with Head of Payments.

  • Partner with a cross-functional global team and provide governance on business strategy across the organization through scheduling quarterly review sessions on the OKR, providing support to business leads, and partnering with the Strategy, Innovation and Digitalization team on OKR Dashboard site maintenance.

  • Manage and oversee the content consolidation and messaging for Payments Operations Monthly Newsletter which is distributed to the organization and other key stakeholders

  • Support various aspects of business hygiene including decommissioning of physical assets, granting/removal of system access, organization-wide tool implementation, etc.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to details, and organization skills with ability to complete time sensitive tasks in high pressure environment

  • Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly in fast pace environment while being flexible to challenge and improve the status quo

  • Displays excellent written and oral communications skills with capability to leverage data to influence decision making

  • Capability to understand and convey the overall impact and benefit of a process improvement.

  • Comfortable working with senior managers and global teams to achieve organizational goals

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Able to forge & maintain partnerships with internal teams across multiple disciplines in matrix environment

  • Ability to lead on project work with a governance and control mindset

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Understanding of Payments Industry and processes preferred, but not essential

  • Experience in Symphony and Microsoft Teams preferred, but not essential
