About the Role

The Renewal Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with government clients in South Africa, ensuring the renewal of their subscriptions to LexisNexis products and services. The role involves understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for government clients in South Africa, building relationships and understanding their business needs.

  • Proactively manage the renewal process for client subscriptions, ensuring timely renewals and minimal churn

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, usage patterns, and potential expansion opportunities.

  • Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.

  • Track and report on key account metrics, such as renewal rates, revenue growth, and client satisfaction scores.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and offerings to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM software or similar tools.

  • Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Possess extensive experience in account management, ideally within a B2B setting.

  • Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

  • Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Possess a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for account growth and upselling.
