Starting pay is $14/hr. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth production by safely handling and transporting materials. Responsibilities
Tends machine which transfers design or finish on cloth by means of heat and pressure from belt and rollers.
Adjusts automatic device that regulates heat for proper processing of individual order being run.
Mounts roll of fabric onto machine feed brackets and threads fabric between rollers lapping end of fabric onto take-up tube.
Engages machine and monitors controls so as to adjust speed, pressure of rollers and tension of fabric to ensure efficient operation of equipment and quality standards.
Observes material as it passes through machine to prevent seams, rolled selvages of trash from damaging rollers or belts.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
