Job Summary
Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work a hybrid schedule based in our Display, Processing, and Network Center of Excellence located in Johnstown, PA.
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, problem-solving, and trustworthy professional who is a team player at all levels!
Job Responsibilities
Handle a variety of administrative responsibilities in support of the executive(s)
Work on assignments requiring judgment and initiative
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments
Read outgoing correspondence for executive approval and alert writers to any conflicts or departure from policies or the executive’s viewpoint
Prepare special reports, summaries, or reply to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources
Provide recommendations to resolve administrative problems
Coordinate preparation of reports such as budget expenditures, statistical reports, or performance measures
Perform administrative functions such as composing or dictating correspondence, scheduling appointments, etc
Calendar management and meeting coordination
Support customer meetings and events
Coordinate travel arrangements, expense report processing and reimbursement
Qualifications
High school diploma and 7 years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to make independent judgment
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Team player, ability to work independently while meeting deadlines, handles a high volume of work
Experience using social media and other marketing strategies in a professional manner preferred
