JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Licensed by Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification by national certifying body with prescriptive privileges. Gerontological Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years in geriatric setting desired.
Physical

Normal office environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Required to stand, walk, sit and use fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. May be exposed to airborne and infectious materials.
JOB SUMMARY
Provide healthcare for Total Life Healthcare (TLH) patients in the hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, home, or clinic. Performs professional duties in collaboration with the Geriatrician as follows: Assessment of health status of all Total Life Healthcare patients; Formulates an appropriate differential diagnosis; Develops and carries out a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT). Provides high quality, cost-effective care by utilizing evidence-based resources (eg, UpToDate) to guide care.
