Position Specific Description

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful discovery, launch, and ongoing operation of our data platform, Helios. Data is critical to our success at EverBright, as a business and as a product manager. You’ll work to establish connections and data pipelines across numerous data domains: energy, finance, fleet management, operational performance, and executive reporting. Moreover, you’ll work to drive insights across the business to inform strategy, improve modeling and estimations, and identify new areas of focus.

This role can be remote or hybrid in either our Juno Beach, FL HQ or San Francisco, CA Office

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Product Roadmap:drive the product roadmapwithin our results driven framework, prioritizing initiatives and enhancements that drive business value to help deliver insights and operational excellence across our vendors and technology stacks.

  • Data Quality:Ensure that the data stores + data flows in and out of the EverBright data warehouse are stable, complete, accurate, and highly performant.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing, to ensure cohesive product development and alignment with business objectives.

  • Product Metrics and Key Results: Define, track, and report on key results to measure the success and impact of the Core Platform teams' initiatives.

  • Product Innovation:Champion innovation by implementing modern product discovery and delivery methods, and encourage creative thinking within the product management team.

  • Product Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with other Product Management team members to ensure alignment of goals, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Product Management organization.

  • Product Delivery:Ensure that critical business needs are met by defining initiatives and seeing them through the implementation and release processes.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in product management.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, marketing, etc.

  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Mindset of collaboration and succeeding as a team, helping others when called upon.

  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with data pipelines and internal customers/users

  • Experience navigating technical conversations with vendors

  • Demonstrated understanding of financing and financial services industry.

  • Demonstrated understanding of market trends and industry knowledge for residential solar and clean energy.

Job Overview

This position owns key initiatives within a workstream pertaining to a specific functional area. Employees contribute at a team level, working cross-functionally and externally to drive product discovery, facilitate product delivery, and ensure product success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks that provide detailed requirements for the development and QA teams with no supervision

  • Contribute to the primary interaction with the implementation teams (Dev, QA, Design, and Marketing) to ensure successful product delivery

  • Work closely with the functional area-specific teams to ensure their tools are fully supported and issues are resolved quickly

  • Own research and product discovery across internal business units and external parties, and document requirements with no supervision

  • Own the requirements, implementation, and documentation of specific features

  • Own data analysis to inform data-driven decisions and define insights

  • Own product roadmap for an initiative with limited supervision

  • Ensure functional area documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible

  • Develops a clear understanding of the competitor landscape, market trends, and customer/partner needs as it pertains to a specific domain

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
