Responsibilities
Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department (Physical Therapy department) in Kansas City, KS is looking for a talented full time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Outpatient Rehab Team. We need a Physical Therapist to work in the acute care hospital setting. As one of our Physical Therapists, you will:
provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
be responsible for: back pain, knee pain, stiff neck, sciatica help, arthritis pain relief, appropriate stretches, and more
Our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30-6:00 and Friday 7:30-3:00
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
one year of orthopedic outpatient experience, preferred
at #providencemedicalcenter or #PMC we are #hiring in #physicaltherapy for a #physicaltherapist or a #PT for #outpatienttherapy for issues like #backpain and #painrelief for #arthrities and/or #kneepain
