UMB Bank SOA Systems Engineer II in Kansas City, Missouri

UMB Bank NA, seeks an SOA Systems Engineer II for Kansas City, MO, with option to telecommute, work from anywhere within US.

Responsibilities:

The SOA Systems Engineer II will be responsible for performing service-oriented architecture job duties. Responsible for working closely with all levels of IT to coordinate the service support and delivery of middleware technologies with multiple teams from application development to infrastructure. Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of Service Oriented Application infrastructure team. Assist and champion triage and troubleshooting of production and non-production middleware/SOA technologies. Provide coordination of any project tasks, toll gates, and milestones. Perform patching, software implementations, and upgrades to middleware/SOA technologies. Partner and interact with technology vendors in support of the UMB environment. Perform additional service-oriented architecture duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major.

  • Three years of experience which must include experience in the following:

  • SOA infrastructure environment working with IBM technologies (i.e. IIB, MQ, DataPower).

  • Production support maintaining middleware systems from software implementation/upgrades to troubleshooting.

  • Architectural design specifically layout/configuration of different components to provide a robust, reliable and efficient platform to support a required volume of banking transactions.
