MacKids Child Development Center and BH at research Medical in Kansas City are now hiring for Kindergarten Prep Teacher positions working with children the year prior to their transition to Kindergarten.

As a Kindergarten Prep Teacher you will:

  • Communicate regularly with parents to support, guide, and share in their child’s development

  • Guide your teaching team to develop classroom plans, goals, and hands-on activities based on your observations of children’s interests and skills

  • Document and share the special moments and important milestones of the children in your care

Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements including:

  • At least six months of experience working with children in a professional setting

  • At least 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED

  • CDA or higherrequired

  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

  • Pass required state and company background checks

  • COVID-19 vaccination or weekly at-home testing provided by BH required to ensure health and safety of staff, children, and the families we serve
