Job Location: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:
§Enable accurate accounting of R2R Journals, Perform Reconciliation, timely resolution and escalation of open items. Ensure transactions are analyzed deeply and closed with highest level of quality and Accounted accurately and timely ensuring compliance, approval verification and quality control review.
§Standardize processes to achieve and exceed stated objectives.
§Timely monitor and manage reporting of all performance indicators specific to his/her team.
§Facilitate timely issue resolution, including escalation in accordance with governance structure.
§Work with other supervisors & Analysts and teams to ensure that the center is meeting or exceeding performance levels.
§Ensure the relevant financial controls are operating as designed (SOX compliance).
§Provide internal and external audit support, as required
§Foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries
What You Will Need to be Successful :
§University Graduate/Post Graduate or MBA with a major in finance, business or accounting
§5 to 9 years of Experience in General Accounting with expertise in Record to Report accounting.
§Experience in accounting and reporting financial systems
§Proficient in using JD Edwards a plus
§Proficient in using Qlik View/Qlik sense a plus
§Experience in interacting with business operational customers and Controllers
§Ability to manage a diverse group of skill sets in a delivery center environment
§Strong communication skills (English required)
§Ability to portray professionalism and confidence to customers via phone and e-mail
§Strong organizational and time management skills
§Ability to multi-task and handle large volume of work efficiently and accurately
§Proficient at conveying the core philosophies of Otis
§Demonstrate high ethical standards
§Willing to work in shifts.
