About the role:
• Leadership and Relationship Management:
Working in our customer projects with a focus on delivering value as part of cross-functional teams.
Collaborating with sales, delivery teams, customers, and project managers to design and architect data-driven solutions, taking ownership of the technical aspects.
• Data Solution Development:
Driving impact by developing data pipelines and crafting data transformation solutions on cloud data platforms
Designing, implementing or maintaining scalable data solutions that are aligned with business objectives
Architecting, deploying and orchestrating data pipelines using languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
Utilizing cloud services and big data technologies (e.g., Spark) to analyze large datasets, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
Developing data models, SQL queries, ETL processes to support warehousing needs, complex data analysis and data integration.
Advising on best practices, leveraging familiarity with data lake architectures and modern data stack like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Testing:
Ensuring data integrity through automated testing and quality checks, and optimizing data storage and processing in cloud environments.
• Documentation:
Data model and architecture design
Data engineering solution documentation
Project specific documentation
• Knowledge Management:
Participate in Commuity Techtalks, etc.
Requirements:
• Strong background in data engineering with some experience in BI or MLOps
• Strong skills and working experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in building and designing data solutions
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or DataVault
• Experience and knowledge of SQL and Python
• Experience with Spark
• Familiarity with data warehousing and lakehouse

• The salary range for this position is from 2850 EUR to 5750 EUR gross before taxes.*
