JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOCKEY is currently hiring a Material Development Coordinator, based at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI. As a member of our Material Development team, you'll support the research, development, approval, and marketing of materials and color initiatives. This includes assisting team members on material and color development needs, meeting our Go to Market strategies (i.e., design intent, timing, costs, margins) for our product categories. You'll also have input in our sustainability initiatives, as well as be able to contribute from the outset and rapidly grow into the role! Join a great organization with growth potential! Work closely with our internal Design, Development, and Sourcing teams as well as external vendors. Authorize approvals/rejections of material test reports and shipping methods of samples. Participate in the creative process with team members, provide go-to support for the the Materials team. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Design, Material Development, or a related field. Some knowledge of textiles, along with a passion for creativity and textile product development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with detail orientation, organization, and follow through. Proficiency with MS Office applications and PLM database systems. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Mature, confident self-starter not afraid to ask questions and learn and grow!
