Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing and verifying vendor invoices for payment according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Job Duties:
Reviews vendor invoices for coding, proper approval and entry into financial system
Reviews and reconciles invoice discrepancies
Obtains necessary W9 or W8 forms for all new vendors
Assists in the compilation of all necessary information for annual 1099 process
Handles inquiries from vendors and internal staff regarding invoice processing and payment status
Performs invoice entry into ERP system, pushing invoices through the automated approval workflow
Assists Internal Audit in requests for information
Assists with end of month Accounts Payable closure

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
High School diploma or GED, required
Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred; focus in Accounting or Finance, preferred
Experience:
Two (2) or more years related accounts payable or prior administrative experience, required
Prior experience with multi-location companies, preferred
Prior experience with international vendors, preferred
License/Certifications:
N/A
Software:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required
Experience working with PeopleSoft Financials, preferred
Language:
N/A

Superior verbal and written communication skills
Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels
Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with an attention to detail
