Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Environmental Services Department
Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant in the Environmental Services Department will support the operations of the hospital by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the department runs efficiently and contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Record Keeping: Maintain and update records related to cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
Communication: Facilitate communication between the Environmental Services team and other hospital departments, including handling phone calls and emails.
Supply Management: Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of bio-hazardous materials.
Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on departmental activities, including incident reports and maintenance requests.
Support: Assist the Environmental Services Manager with administrative tasks, such as preparing documents, organizing meetings, and managing departmental budgets.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare or environmental services setting.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in handling records and administrative tasks.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with the Environmental Services team and other hospital staff.

Work Environment
The position is for the 1st shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at a brand new location in King of Prussia. Our client believes in fostering a team environment and growing their culture organically.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
