The Staff Accountant will work closely with Controller to ensure that financial information is accurately developed, analyzed, and reported to management.
Role and Responsibilities
Monthly Financial Statements
Bank Reconciliations
Work in Progress Schedules
Miscellaneous Journal Entries
Manage all aspects of Assets including acquisitions, dispositions, depreciation, and tracking.
Perform related work as required by controller.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
Strong organization, communication, and people skills
Proficient in Excel
Preferred Skills
Experience with accounting systems and software (Viewpoint Construction Software)
Knowledge of cost accounting as it relates to the construction industry
