About the Role

For our Abbott Toxicology division, we are looking for a Sales Manager Products to be based in the Stockholm area.

You will lead the Nordic sales team within our product business by providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories and building the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management, coaching and follow up the sales organization incl. commercial excellence compliance, sales performance, funnel health and making strategic priorities and allocations.

  • Establish, execute and follow up clear goals for the sales team.

  • Manage and develop accounts and sales of Reagents and Products to Laboratories in the Nordic Region as a Key Account Manager with own sales quota.

  • Ensure clear sales processes and updated contract templates, responsible for establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Lead and facilitate sales meetings and actively participate in exhibitions, seminars and conferences.

  • Ensure execution of commercial excellence including sales performance, sales productivity and the accuracy in CRM-system in line with Abbott expectations.

  • Ensure updated and accurate product sales forecast and demand planning and report monthly to demand planning team and finance

  • Drive development and strengthen the partnerships with Distributors and large strategic customers.

  • Day-to-day monitoring and management of the appropriate bid /contract email inbox and portal notifications.

  • Analyze tender requests, distribute tender request internally within the sales team according to SOP.

  • Carry out any other commercial or operational related duties as and when requested by the Commercial Director

Your Profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a suitable field of study or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of work experience from products and solution selling with a proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close

  • 3+ years of work experience from a senior leadership position with documented good leadership skills

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office

  • Experience working with Commercial tools such as Salesforce.com

  • Experience in writing commercial and technical copy to a high standard

  • Experience and knowledge of Regents and Laboratory industry

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

  • Excellent problem solving capabilities

  • Fluency in English and Swedish verbally and written.

  • Able to communicate with varying levels of seniority with confidence and clear and concise communication.
