Job Description

The purpose of this job is to support and maintain bank card, fleet card, and

check payment processing (200 plus forms of payment), settlement,

reconciliation and customer payment experience within the company

enterprise.

Essential Functions

  1. Provide support for payments system operations monitoring processes or

systems; coordinate updates as needed

  1. Investigate escalated payments production support call center issues,

infrastructure network operations center (NOC) issues, or system alerts to

include cause analysis, troubleshooting and resolution, and follow-up

communications

  1. Lead environment oversight coordinating software or environment

updates and configuration changes; ensure operating standards and

configuration across development, test, quality assurance (QA)

environments, and production systems

  1. Collaborate with other departments and business users to define

appropriate requirements for business related payments enhancements

  1. Provide requirements definition assistance and design, validation,

implementation, and support activities through all phases of payments

related projects with Senior Payments team member oversight

  1. Work with Senior Payments team members to perform implementations

of approved production changes

  1. Provide assistance to Payments team members through collaboration,

mentoring, and review

  1. Work with system vendors to identify needed system updates for

processing, office and monitoring systems; coordinate installation,

validation, and implementation of updates across development, test, QA,

and production

  1. Create new documentation or update existing documentation for

payment system updates, monitoring, and operations and support

processes

  1. Collaborate with senior Payments team members on software testing,

implementation, and support

  1. Develop database analysis and reporting as needed to support technology

leadership and business partner requests

  1. Review and analyze payments system performance (processing and

database) to identify improvement opportunities across systems

  1. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure

guests and team members are supported at the highest level

  1. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and

procedures

  1. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent certification required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum three years’ experience in technical support with preference for experience with payments industry/electronic funds transfer technology
