Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman with strong experience in commercial electrical construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects and leading a team of electricians. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety standards. It also requires experience with masonry and slab work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of 10 or more electricians on commercial construction projects.

  • Ensure all electrical systems are installed, connected, tested, and maintained according to safety standards and specifications.

  • Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittal data for layout and task execution.

  • Place conduit inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas.

  • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches and outlets.

  • Pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.

  • Test equipment to check circuits for proper connections, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety of components.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of Commercial Electrical Construction experience.

  • Proven experience directly managing 10 or more people.

  • Experience with projects valued at $5+ million.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittal data.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, electronics, mathematics, and electrical code requirements.

  • History of successfully leading and developing electricians on commercial construction projects.

  • Masonry and slab work experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with conduit bending, pulling wire, and running conduit.

  • Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems.

  • Experience with switchgear, lighting, mechanical, and installation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
