Job Title: Concrete Form Carpenter
Job Description
Looking for experienced Concrete Form Carpenters for a construction project in Knoxville, TN.
Responsibilities
Work with forming systems (Modular and Vertical).
Install doors; drill and set door hardware.
Install windows.
Layout for stairs and common rafters.
Read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills, and perform layout.
Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls, and columns.
Utilize pump, place, and finish techniques.
Placement of concrete, slab on grade, and elevated decks.
Use crane signals and rigging.
Effectively communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions.
Organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within the schedule.
Essential Skills
Experience with concrete, construction, and carpentry.
Proficiency in concrete finishing, concrete formwork, and concrete pours.
Ability to use hand tools, tape measure, and power tools.
Experience in formwork.

Work Environment
Start classes are on Mondays only.
Must be OSHA 30 certified before starting work. The OSHA 30 certification takes at least one week to complete, with a maximum of 7.5 hours per day.
If you need to complete OSHA 30, it can take up to two weeks to start. If already certified, you can start the Monday after clearing compliance.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
