Job Title: Concrete Form Carpenter

Job Description

Looking for experienced Concrete Form Carpenters for a construction project in Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Work with forming systems (Modular and Vertical).

  • Install doors; drill and set door hardware.

  • Install windows.

  • Layout for stairs and common rafters.

  • Read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills, and perform layout.

  • Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls, and columns.

  • Utilize pump, place, and finish techniques.

  • Placement of concrete, slab on grade, and elevated decks.

  • Use crane signals and rigging.

  • Effectively communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions.

  • Organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within the schedule.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with concrete, construction, and carpentry.

  • Proficiency in concrete finishing, concrete formwork, and concrete pours.

  • Ability to use hand tools, tape measure, and power tools.

  • Experience in formwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification required. If you are not currently certified, you can take a certification course through us before you start!

Work Environment

  • Start classes are on Mondays only.

  • Must be OSHA 30 certified before starting work. The OSHA 30 certification takes at least one week to complete, with a maximum of 7.5 hours per day.

  • If you need to complete OSHA 30, it can take up to two weeks to start. If already certified, you can start the Monday after clearing compliance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
