Job Description The Maximo Configuration Specialist is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the IBM Maximo Asset Management system to meet organizational requirements. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to implement and optimize workflows, integrations, and system functionality. The specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the system operates efficiently to support asset management, work management, and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Configuration and Administration • Configure and customize Maximo applications, including workflows, security groups, domains, and system settings. • Design and implement application setups, such as asset hierarchies, job plans, and work order processes. • Develop automation scripts, escalations, and notifications to enhance system functionality. System Integration • Work with IT teams to integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, SCADA). • Ensure data integrity and synchronization across integrated systems. Business Analysis • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements enabled by Maximo capabilities. Support and Training • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Maximo-related issues. • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and administrators. • Document configuration changes, processes, and user guides. System Maintenance • Monitor system performance, perform upgrades, and apply patches as needed. • Conduct regular data quality reviews and optimize system configurations for performance. • Stay updated on Maximo releases and new features to recommend system enhancements. • Lead the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and some latitude for independent judgment. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the administration tasks of the assigned software application including security, roles, users, managing errors and installation and apply this knowledge in the administration of the system. • Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document. • Shares knowledge related to industry best practices and standards with others across the team. • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university is required. • Experience configuring and designing within Maximo - 7.6 or 8.0 • Experience with API and other integration methods. • Experience in the administration of software applications or similar systems is required. • Experience installing, upgrading, enhancing, and supporting multiple large-scale administrative software applications. • Experience in web and mobile applications support is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $72.11/hr.
