For our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products Factory in Gebze, we are looking for a Head of Strategic Procurement.
This role will be responsible for the management of the strategic procurement function for direct materials, investments and service demand of the SI EP EMS MF GEB Factory.
What part will you play?
Management of the team: Coaching the team members, improving competencies, target setting and monitoring, etc.
Defining procurement strategy in collaboration with the HQ, factory management, commodity managers and other functions of the factory
Contribution to net income: Productivity through price negotiations, pooling of demand, material change, generating make or buy ideas etc.
Supplier Management: Supplier selection, supplier evaluation and development through common projects with cross functions
Controlling and reporting of purchasing activities: Setting the individual targets and follow-up; reporting strategic procurement related KPIs monthly and quarterly
Contract Management: Preparing and signing contracts with suppliers incl. Quality Assurance Agreements, Logistics Agreements and Frame Contracts, etc.
Risk Management: Evaluating risks in sourcing and taking preventive actions against possible losses by suppliers and supply market prices
Claim Management: Claiming compensation of losses or additional expenses caused by suppliers
Procurement related material master data responsibility
What you need to make real what matters.
• University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar
• Very good command of Turkish and English (additionally German is a plus)
• SAP knowledge is a big plus
• Knowledge on procurement methods
• 5 years of experience in a similar position
