Job Description
Accountable for broad software design, code quality and architecture decisions
Lead and direct architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews for functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance
Own and evolve Data Integration strategy in areas that include, but are not limited to technical architecture and solutions, standards, principles, processes and methodologies, quality
Contribute towards the long-term technical roadmap for the solution area
Investigate and drive analysis for innovations and technologies
Should have experience developing and maintaining high-scale front-end and/or back-end services in a standard SOA.
Deep understanding of operational excellence and know-how to how to improve the SLI/SLO for a distributed ecosystem.
Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.
Responsibilities
Primary technical skill should include deep dive knowledge and working experience in Java, Apache Spark, Distributed architecture, Crunch, Storm, Spark, Kafka and Big Data Processing.
Knowledge in Ruby, Rails and React would be an added advantage.
Data engineering and BI tools knowledge. Hands-on experience with tools for building data pipelines. The skillset may include at least one of the data warehouses like Snowflake, Vertica, ADW, or equivalent; ETL tools like AWS Glue, Data Integration Services or others; Business Intelligence tools like Tableau (https://www.altexsoft.com/blog/tableau-bi-tools-overview/) , OAC, or equivalent.
Real-time exposure and knowledge he/she is having in terms of system availability, and scalability of distributed systems (primarily Cloud). Also, experience in practicing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and deployments on multi-zone and multi-countries would be highly preferred
Troubleshoot issues observed through internal monitoring or reported by customers and work on both corrective and preventive solutions.
Highly proficient with 2+ years of experience in handling projects on Cloud Infrastructure (OCI preferred).
Exposure to OCI components like Golden Gate or Data Integration Service would be an added advantage (any one)
