The Senior PS Consultant is a customer-facing role responsible for development of customer project requirements documents, solution specifications, project component development and delivery, solution installation, pre-sales activities and customer training. Technical focus including but not limited to Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and many more Digital Security Solutions offerings. The Consultant provides expert information security consulting services to a diverse range of clients, designing complex PS solutions, or public key infrastructure & cryptography solutions based on Entrusts’ products as well as engaging directly via conceptual training. Our Senior PS Consultants use their advanced cryptographic technical skills to create competitive advantage for Entrust Digital Security sales teams in APAC, create added value for Entrust customers, and develop intellectual property in the form of reusable code, processes, and documents.
Responsibilities
Participating in the delivery of whole projects and key project deliverables which may include custom code, project plans & documentation, training materials, solution deployment and project/engagement reports
Attaining an in-depth knowledge of Entrust Digital Security products and the core cryptographic technology surrounding them, including nShield HSM, PKI and Identity products
Delivering formal certification training for the standard Entrust product platforms
Assessing customers’ security environments & encryption strategies, using this assessment to produce a coherent gap analysis, and then articulating to the end-customer the shortcomings in their environment as compared to the industry best practices
Designing, developing, and executing individualized training for client organizations on PKI in general, and on the implementation of PKI into their networks in particular
Working jointly with clients and with internal subject matter experts on the development of customer requirements and documentation
Supporting Entrust APAC Digital Security sales teams on developing project opportunities into properly documented projects and deliverables
Assisting team architects in specifying and documenting proposed custom cryptographic solutions based on Entrust products and solutions offerings
Depending on project needs and customer needs, this role is expected for considerable amount of travel, both domestic and internationally at approximately 50%.

Technical Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 10+ years of experience with information security technology and processes, specifically cryptography and the PKI
Superior presentation abilities, with the capability to comfortably interact with and train customers in both small group or classroom settings
Familiarity with cryptographic concepts, public key exchange, and digital signatures required
Solid working knowledge and understanding of core cryptographic concepts. Specifically, ability to use, explain, and teach to standard crypto interfaces (e.g. PKCS#11, CAPI/CNG CHIL) is required
Excellent people skills as the candidate must work smoothly with Entrust distributors, resellers, and registered representatives in a multi-line partner channel model
Good working knowledge of Linux, other Unix variants (e.g. AIX, HP/UX) and MS Windows OS
Solid networking experience with a background in data communications & TCP/IP networks
Computer hardware trouble shooting experience required
Practical knowledge of web and application servers (Apache, ISS); Certificate Authorities (Microsoft ADCS, Entrust PKI)
Advanced programming skills in a modern programming language, e.g. Java, C++, C#
Articulate in both written and verbal communication
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or relevant academic background.
PKI academic credentials in higher education is a plus
