The supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life of the residents under their care. The job description for an Adult Family Home Supervisor may include the following responsibilities: Resident care and support, staff management, regulatory compliance, communication, administrative tasks, emergency preparedness, quality improvement, and personal development. Qualifications: Required: 2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities Good time management and ability to meet deadlines Proven ability to provide leadership Well-developed oral and written communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of various software packages Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage and ability to transport participants when needed. Associate\'s Degree or other post-high school graduation coursework in a human service field Previous Adult Family Home or licensed facility supervision experience Knowledge of proactive behavioral approaches Experience in care coordination for people with disabilities.
