Job Title: Carpenter
Job Description
Responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel. Perform all aspects of carpentry - rough, finish, steel stud, and cabinet installation.
Responsibilities
Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures.
Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
Check work along the way to ensure it’s up to code and specifications.
Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
Install cabinets and molding.
Create structures for pouring concrete.
Install partitions, doors, and windows.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of commercial carpentry experience.
Ability to estimate dimensions and work with blueprints.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and materials.
Experience with rough, finish, and steel stud carpentry.
Knowledge of building codes and specifications.

Work Environment
Work in all weather elements. Typically, work on a site with 6-8 team members, but at times it can be 14-16. Dress code includes steel toe boots and pants. Personal protective equipment like hard hats and safety glasses are provided. Standard hours are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with overtime as project needs dictate, sometimes working 10-hour days. Each site may determine their start time, but these are typical hours from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $39.00/hr.
