Patient Care Technician
Must: Skill/Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BCLS certification.
- LPN license when applicable.

Duties:
Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the
psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care;
- When holding a valid LPN License, will provide basic care to patients
within the LPN scope of practice that includes actions that meet psychosocial
needs and physical needs. Colorado - LPNs may perform IV therapy and venous
blood withdrawal and administer "premixed antibiotic solutions via
peripheral veins regulated by gravity flow or pump.
- Meets the communication needs of patient and family, provides care that
reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional
expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies,
procedures and standards.
- Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient's
clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and
symptomatology.
- Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or
response to treatment.
- Is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate
supervision.
- Train as backup for ER Assistant
- Will provide one-on-one supervision of patients experiencing acute self-harm
ideation.
Pay: $15.00 - $19.94 per/hour Paid: Every two weeks

Duration: Full-time
Shift/Days/Hours: To be scheduled by employer. Including weekends and
holidays.
