*Regionwide WZTC Crew (HMW2) Lacey, WA -- Olympic Region $52,920 -- $64,440 Annually * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill four regionwide Highway Maintenance Worker 2 positions. These journey-level positions perform a variety of skilled maintenance tasks and are responsible for maintenance and repair of highways and highway structures to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and commerce. These positions are members of the Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) Crew and may assist with crews in maintaining signs, durable pavement markings, and striping and/or setting up and maintaining a safe work zone for regionwide, statewide, and area crews for maintenance and emergency operations. As a Highway Maintenance Worker on the WZTC crew, you may have the opportunity to work with general maintenance operations on other roadway and roadside maintenance activities and assist with snow and ice control.
