LaGrange County is accepting applications for a WIC Coordinator for the Health Department. The WIC Coordinator is responsible for directing local agency operations and personnel.
Qualified candidates must have a Baccalaureate degree in nursing, dietetics, nutrition, or related field and/or have a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana. Preferred candidates will demonstrate successful supervisory experience, have the ability to manage a budget, have working knowledge of health and social services available to County residents, have a good understanding of the WIC program and requirements, and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate.
Position is an hourly paid position with a maximum approved hourly rate of $31.24(35 hours per week M-Th) Benefits will include health, dental, vision, life insurances, State retirement (PERF), employee assistance plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
