ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Collects green fees sells golf supplies and concessions and starts
players on the golf course.
- Serves beer and food items at the club house.
- Acquaints new golfers with course rules and regulations.
- Using excellent customer service skills establishes and maintains
effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and
all members of the general public.
- Patrols course property to direct the pace of play and make sure
golfers are practicing proper manners of play and observance of golf
rules and etiquette when scheduled to do so.
- Sells season passes and assists in keeping records of such.
- Cleans pro shop and restrooms on a daily basis and as needed.
- Enforces established policies, rules, and regulations of course.
- Receives and responds to complaints from golfers.
- Operates a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of
the department and the City.
- Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
- Saturdays are required as well as Holiday weekends like Memorial
weekend, etc.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Relieve other personnel at the golf course when necessary.

- QUALIFICATIONS
- This position is subject to the LBR\'s Drug and Alcohol-Free

post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return-to-duty
testing, and follow-up testing when necessary, required, or
requested.
- Validdriver\'s license.
- Ability to work harmoniously with patrons and fellow employees.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to count change.
- Ability to maintain records and files.
- Working knowledge of the rules of golf.
- Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with
co-workers, supervisors, other LBR departments, and staff.
- Ability to follow verbal and or written instructions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
