Summary The Senior Bridge and Structures Project Engineer 1 is
responsible for leading the structural design and analysis efforts on a
variety of engineering projects. The person in this position must be
licensed to serve as engineer-of-record on assigned projects in the
state of primary practice or should be licensed in a different state
with the ability to get the required license within 6 months of hire.
The person in this position should show a strong working knowledge in
AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications; and/or the International
Building Code and ASCE 7: Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria
for Buildings and Other Structures. The person in this position should
be able to quickly learn and apply other design codes as needed. The
person in this position will lead bridge engineering efforts on highly
complex projects and will be a contributing expert to the advancement of
the field of structural engineering. The person in this position will
provide leadership and guidance to less experienced team members, senior
level review and oversight on a variety of simple to complex projects.
